40, 50 + women. You know who you are….
FIBROMYALGIA
The other 'F' word can nag at you in any form of fitness, be it walking, running, yoga, or circuit training.
You have to consider how you feel throughout the day and the level of exertion you can manage. Going too hard can leave you exhausted later on. So, when you're feeling tired and unmotivated, it's important to listen to your body.
However, occasionally, you might indeed need that motivational kick.
NUTRITION
It’s amazing the effects on many or all conditions, chronic, rheumatic or otherwise that this relates to.
Of course, when you are younger you think, blah, blah, blah… however, our older self’s and those wise ones before our revelation were right. It took an elimination diet to figure it out and then adding foods back and feeling the effects. It improved my life completely, which I follow about 80% of the time. Sometimes, I just have to say w t f!
However, you would think that your extra weight would melt away when you give up carbs, cut sugar 90%, and limit dairy. Well…. I am still awaiting this miracle.
FITNESS
When you go to an aerobics or dance class, and this is what you feel like.
CHRONIC PAIN + CHRONIC FATIGUE
STRUCTURAL ISSUE or needs some PT, massage, stretching or exercises to get to the root of issue.
Systematic Symptoms: Pain, Weight Gain Headaches, IBS, Food intolerances, chemical sensitivities.
FITNESS
When you see young people’s social media posts on fitness. Skimpy outfits, tight muscles and looking hot.
Does that annoy you too? Such as wall yoga….
Even looking for the right wall is tiring :0). Then you get down on the floor and holy crap. What the hell?
I used to be rockin it to the fitness VHS’s like Jane Fonda, Kathy Ireland, and Billy Blanks aka Tai Bo. Mind you, without the leotard and leg warmers, just sweats and t-shirts, sometimes sports bras.
